Deletion Policy

Account, team, and photo deletion

You can request deletion of your InstaMapp account, team data, inventory, uploaded photos, and marketplace data by contacting support@instamapp.com from the email address on your account. Team deletion requests must come from a team owner.

Deleted inventory photos are removed from active storage when the item or image is removed. Temporary scan uploads are cleaned up when a scan fails before the images are attached to a saved item.

Some records may be retained or anonymized when needed for security, fraud prevention, billing, tax, legal, backup, dispute, moderation, or audit obligations. Marketplace conversations and reports may be retained long enough to resolve safety and transaction issues.

Backups may contain deleted data for a limited retention window until backup rotation completes. Restored backups must repeat deletion cleanup before returning to production service.
